The modules of the ET 200L-SC can be upgraded with a Smart Connect. The
modules of the ET 200L-SC include:
24 V DC digital input modules
24 V DC digital output modules
24 V DC digital input and output modules
The digital and analog electronic modules of the Smart Connect SC add to
the digital inputs and outputs of the ET 200L-SC.
The Smart Connect SC has the following modules:
24 V 0.5A/2A DC digital input/output modules
120/230 V AC digital input/output modules
230 V AC relay module
Analog input modules (U, I, TC, RTD)
Analog output modules (U, I)
The Smart Connect SC consists of a terminal block and various electronic
modules that you can connect to it.
The Smart Connect SC allows you to fine tune the inputs and outputs to your
process.
You can connect both analog and digital electronic modules to the terminal
block at the same time.
You connect the ET 200L to the Smart Connect SC by means of the prefabri-
cated connecting cable. Chapter 3.10 describes how to do this.
A number of components are available to you for installing and commission-
ing a Smart Connect. Table 1-3 lists these components and their functions:
