device
The default is Auto, which allows
either open system or shared
key authentication to be used
Select Open to use open system
authentication (a WEP key is not used
for authentication) Select Shared to
use shared key authentication (a WEP
key is used for authentication)

How to select Wireless Range Extender mode

To select Wireless Range Extender mode:
Setup > Operation Mode
1. Log into the browser-based utility (see "How to open the browser-based
utility" on page 8)
2. Click the Setup tab, then click the Operation Mode page
3. Select Wireless Range Extender, then click Save Settings
