    Mounting the Cisco WAP351 There are two ways to physically install the Cisco WAP351: • Place the Cisco WAP351 horizontally on a flat surface so that it sits on its four rubber feet. • Mount the Cisco WAP351 to a wall or ceiling.
  • Page 4 Wall and Ceiling Mounting The Cisco WAP351 can be wall- or ceiling-mounted. A mounting kit is packaged with your Cisco WAP351. The kit is designed to install your Cisco WAP351 to the wall or the ceiling.

    Getting Started with the Configuration To configure the Cisco WAP351, follow these steps to access the the web- based Configuration Utility and then the Setup Wizard from your computer: Connect the Cisco WAP351 to the same network (IP subnet) as your computer.

    Troubleshooting If you cannot display the web-basedConfiguration Utility, you can test the ability of the computer to communicate with the Cisco WAP351 by using ping. To use ping on a computer running Windows: Verify that the Cisco WAP351is powered on and the lights if they do not indicate the appropriate links.
