Warranty Information - Firex ADH Owner's Manual

Invensys Controls warrants to the original consumer purchaser each new heat alarm ,
excluding battery, to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use
and service for a period of five (5) years from the date of purchase. Invensys Contro l s
a g rees to repair or replace, at its option, any defective heat alarm p rovided that it is
re t u rned with postage prepaid and with proof of purchase date to Invensys Controls. This
w a rranty does not cover damage resulting from accident, misuse or abuse, or lack of
reasonable care of the product. This warranty is in lieu of all other express warr a n t i e s ,
obligations or liabilities. THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FIT-
NESS FOR A PA RTICULAR PURPOSE ARE LIMITED TO A PERIOD OF FIVE (5) YEARS FROM
PURCHASE DATE. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warr a n t y
lasts, so the above limitations may not apply to you. IN NO CASE SHALL I N V E N S Y S
CONTROLS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES FOR
BREACH OF THIS OR ANY OTHER WA R R A N T Y, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WHAT S O E V E R ,
EVEN IF THE LOSS OR DAMAGE IS CAUSED BY ITS NEGLIGENCE OR FA U LT. Some states
do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the
above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific le gal
rights, and you may also have ot h er legal rights which vary from state to state.
