5.1 Changing the V-belt

1. Remove the protective motor filter (ZChapter 4.2,
"Replacing the protective motor filter", Point 1-3) and/or
the blow-out filter (ZChapter 4.3, "Replacing the blow-
out filter", Point 1-4).
2. Rinse the filter with lukewarm water (max. 40° C). Then
allow it to dry for 24 hours.
ATTENTION:
The filters are not suitable for the dishwasher. Do not dry
the filter with a hairdryer. Never use the brush vacuum
cleaner without filters.
WARNING:
Turn the appliance off and pull out the mains plug before
starting to replace the V-belt. Otherwise there is a risk of
injury.
1. Place the appliance headfirst on an even surface.
2. Unscrew the 4 screws on the hinge covers (Fig. 25/1) of
the
base
screwdriver.

3. Remove the hinge covers (Fig. 25/1).
4. Pull the base plate (Fig. 26/1) carefully up out of the
appliance.

5. Unscrew the 5 fastening screws (Fig. 27/1) on the
upper brushing foot cover (Fig. 28/1).
6. Turn the appliance around.
