WARNING:
If you leave your work area, switch off the appliance and
observe the instructions under ZChapter 3.2, "Switching
off and winding up the power cable". This will help avoid
accidents.

ATTENTION:
Never position the appliance directly against heat
sources (e.g. heating, oven). Avoid direct sunlight. Heat
can damage the appliance.
If you want to store the appliance for a longer period of
time, empty the dust container and clean it as well as the
filters. Store the appliance in a cool, dry room.
ATTENTION:
Before you change the dust container switch off the
appliance and observe the instructions under ZChapter
3.2, "Switching off and winding up the power cable". This
way, you will prevent the dust from destroying the
appliance.
1. Press the release button (Fig. 17/1) for the dust
container and lift the dust container up and out of the
appliance using the handle (Fig. 17/2).
2. Hold the dust container low over a dustbin.

3. Push the release button (Fig. 18/1). The base
(Fig. 18/2) opens and the dust runs into the dustbin.
NOTE:
You can wash the dust container with lukewarm water
(max. 40° C). Then leave the dust container to dry. Only

use it again when it is completely dry.
4. Close the base.
5. Check the protective motor filter for dirt and damage

ZChapter 4, "Filters".
6. Place the dust container inside again. The container
clicks audibly into place.
NOTE:
You can dispose of the contents of the dust container
with the normal domestic waste as long as it does not
contain any elements not permitted for domestic waste.
