B. Multi Picture
Note: To display the multiscreen, setting of the VCR
OUT menu is required. See page 8 for details.
1. Confirm that neither SEQ, PLAY, EL-ZOOM, nor
STILL mode is the current mode. If the current mode
is any one of the above, reset the mode.
2. Press the MULTISCREEN button to select QUAD-A,
QUAD-B, or 3x3.
The multiscreen changes as follows each time you
press the MULTISCREEN button when all parame-
ters on the VCR OUT menu are ON.
The channel assignment shown in the following dia-
grams corresponds to the factory setting. You can
change the assignment by setting the CH SETUP
menu. See page 14 for details.

The LEDs on the VIDEO SELECT buttons light to
indicate the channels now displayed on the monitor
screen.
Notes:
• Some frames are skipped as the picture seg-
ments are displayed.
• Multi pictures being monitored may sometimes
vibrate vertically, but this does not indicate a
malfunction.
• When 3x3 is displayed on the monitor screen
according to the factory setting, no picture is
assigned to channel 9. To assign a picture, see
"3-7 CH SETUP" on page 14 for details.

• Quad Shift
Pressing the QUAD SHIFT button when monitoring
the quad picture will switch to the next quad picture.
