Save & Restore
Once you have configured your Gigaset WLAN Repeater, it is advisable to back up the
settings. Then you can restore them at any time, should they be accidentally deleted or
overwritten. You can also restore a backed up version of your configuration to your
Gigaset WLAN Repeater, if the Gigaset WLAN Repeater no longer functions as expected
after further configuration.
If you do not have a valid backup to hand, you can reset the Gigaset WLAN Repeater to
the factory settings. In this case, you will lose all your configuration settings (including
the new password)

Backing up configuration data

In the Save & Restore menu, select Save Settings.

Click on OK.
ì
Your browser opens a window in which you can download the configuration file
from the Gigaset WLAN Repeater to your hard disk drive. Click on Save and then
select the directory where you want to save the file. Change the file name if neces-
sary. Confirm your selection by clicking on OK.
Once the procedure has been completed, the current configuration data of the Gigaset
WLAN Repeater will have been backed up in the specified file.
