Channel Setup

Here comes the initial setup status of the CHANNEL SETUP menu.

CAMERA Setup
Sets up ON/OFF of a certain channel during display and recording. [ON/OFF]
AUDIO Setup
Sets up ON/OFF of audio input by channels. [ON/OFF]
TITLE
Sets up the title by channels seen during display
It is set to CAM1, CAM2, CAM3, or CAM4 as a default value.
AUDIO RECORD
If you want to record both video and audio data, set it to ON and if you want to
record video 3-11 data only, set it to OFF. Audio data will be recorded at the speed
of 24 Kbps all the time without regard to the video recording field rate. [ON/OFF]
AUDIO OUT
Sets up audio output.
[ON/OFF]
Caution Caution
Audio data recording will not begin until video recording speed reaches 12.5 IPS

RECORD/PALYBACK MODE
SHR-4040P can record 25 cuts of video image a second in the SIMPLEX mode.
But, in the SIMPLEX mode, it can perform only one function of recording or replay.
SHR-4040P can perform both recording and replay function in the DUPLEX mode
while it can record only 12.5 cuts of video image a second in this mode.

DISK END MODE
- If you set it to STOP, the system will stop recording when the HDD is full.
- If you set it to CONTINUE, the system will overwrite the previous data from the
oldest part during recording. [CONTINUE/STOP]
DISK END BUZZER
At the time of setting up STOP in the DISK END MODE, DISK END BUZZER
determines whether the buzzer sounds or not when the HDD is full.
If it is set to ON, the buzzer will sound when the HDD is full during recording and if
it sets to OFF, the buzzer will remain silent. [ON/OFF]

At the time of setting up TIMER RECORD, the following screen pops up.

DAY : Sets up the timer record for each weekday or programmed weekday.
[ALL, SUN, MON, TUE, WED, THU, FRI, SAT, SUN, M-F, M-S, OFF]
START : Sets up the recording start time.
END : Sets up the recording end time.
