CONNECTING AND OPERATING

SEPARATE CONNECTION

If you use a control amplifier (such as the Pioneer C-AX10) which has a channel divider or multi-channel
output, you can enjoy a multi-channel system. You may connect the INPUT 1 terminal and INPUT 2
terminal of this appliance respectively to the HIGH and LOW sides of the channel divider or the HIGH
and LOW output terminals of the control amplifier. You will also need to connect this appliance's HIGH
speaker terminals to the tweeter terminals on the speaker system, and the LOW speaker
terminals to the speakers' woofer terminals.
The speaker system you use should have no speaker network, or the speaker network should be
detachable (as with the Pioneer S-AX10).
Memo
Connecting the separately
available C-AX10 (digital
control amplifier) eliminates
the need for a channel
divider. For details on how to
connect it, you should refer to
the Directions for Use which
come with the C-AX10.
No speaker network,
or speaker with
detachable speaker
network (right-hand
side)
Take care to connect only to a speaker
system with an impedance of at least 3
½. To ascertain speaker impedance you
should refer to the manual which came
with the system.
