Selection
To answer a call with an extension telephone in TEL/FAX mode (page 30), or
TAM/FAX mode (page 31) activate this feature and program the code.
M0N "OFF"
M1N "ON" (default)

2. Press M1N to select "ON". A MSETN
3. Enter your code from 2 to 4 digits, using 0-9 and MGN.
R The default code is "H0".

M1N "16s" (default): Maximum greeting message time is 16 seconds.
M2N "60s": Maximum greeting message time is 60 seconds.

To send or copy a document with faint or dark writing, set this feature before
transmission or copying.
M1N "NORMAL" (default): Used for normal writing.
M2N "LIGHT": Used for dark writing.
M3N "DARKER": Used for faint writing.

If you use a DSL/ADSL line, an echo may occur during a telephone
conversation. In this case, activate this feature. The volume of your voices will
be slightly decreased to reduce the echo.

To hear an incoming call from the speaker when the answering machine is
recording the message.
M0N "OFF"
M1N "ON" (default)
This feature is available when the transmitting/receiving fax machines are ECM
compatible.
M0N "OFF": Deactivates this feature.
M1N "ON" (default): If there is an error during fax transmission/reception, the unit
will support the communication.
Note:
R You cannot change the setting when received documents are in memory.
The recall/flash time depends on your telephone exchange or host PBX.
M1N "900msec.", M2N "700msec.", M3N "600msec." (default), M4N
"400msec.", M5N "300msec.", M6N "250msec.", M7N "200msec.", M8N

Note:
R If the unit is connected via a PBX, this setting may need to be changed in
order for PBX functions (transferring a call, etc.) to work correctly. Consult
your PBX supplier for the correct setting.
