If You Have a Flat Tire
2. Support the motorcycle securely, raise
the rear wheel off the ground.
3. Loosen the rear axle nut ( ).
4. Loosen the drive chain lock nuts ( )
and turn the drive chain adjusting bolts
( ) so the rear wheel can be moved all 3
the way forward for maximum drive
chain slack.
5. Remove the rear axle nut and washer.

6. Remove the drive chain ( ) from the
rear wheel sprocket by pushing the rear
wheel forward.
