Remove face plate by grasping it around
the bottom edge and pulling toward the left,
Caution: Before lubricating your machine,
then down and away from machine.
disconnect the power-line plug from your
electrical outlet.
To Replace Face Plate
Lubricate parts behind the face plate, under

Replace face plate and tighten screw A.
the arm top cover. and bottom of machine
* Return Presser-foot lifter to up position.
Apply a drop of oil (but no more than adrop)
to all places indicated
To Remove Top Cover

L Loosen Screws B, C, D, and E.
* Lift top cover up and remove it from
machine
* Loosen screw A.

* Loosen screws F, G, H and I.

Remove bottom cover from machine.
