Remote Operation - Thermostatic Mode
1.
Turn the remote on by pressing the remote's power button,
if the remote activates in Manual (MAN) or Thermostatic
(AUTO) Mode, the fireplace will automatically start. If the
remote is not in Thermostatic Mode, press the mode button
to switch the remote's mode to Thermostatic. The remote
display will show "AUTO".

When the remote is activated, the fireplace display panel will
illuminate and show Flame Level 1 along with the remote
signal symbol. The fireplace will begin the start up sequence
automatically.

Use the adjustment arrow button on the remote to set the
desired room temperature.

Note:
The temperature sensing probe is built into the re-
mote. Place the remote control in a good position to monitor the
room's average temperature.
Attention: Avoid placing the remote too close to the fireplace
as this will affect the remote's temperature sensor.
Note:
The startup sequence takes 1 minute, 15 seconds to
complete.

Note:
When the remote is in thermostatic mode, the fireplace
will automatically adjust the flame level to meet the heat de-
mand from the remote. The flame level will gradually increase
until the desired room temperature is reached, then the flame
level will gradually decrease until the fireplace shuts off.
CAUTION: If the fireplace experiences loss of power while the
remote is operating thermostatic mode, the remote will need
to be manually reset after power is restored to the fireplace in
order for the fireplace to resume normal operation. Press the
remote's power button to turn it off then back on to reset the
remote.
