Installation
To make a permanent connection to existing AC wiring:
1. Install the required circuit breaker in the AC load panel.
2. Ensure AC power is turned off.
3. Remove the left-hand side AC wiring knockout from the front of the

Important:
The applicable installation code may not allow you to run the AC
input and AC output wiring through the same AC knockout.

CAUTION: Reverse polarity
Improper connections (connecting a line conductor to a neutral conductor, for
example) will cause the XM Series Inverter to malfunction and may permanently
damage the inverter. Damage caused by a reverse polarity connection is not
covered by your warranty.
