Troubleshooting

Problem
No audio, no video, LCD lit
Beamlike blackouts in the video
No reception on a channel that
was working before
No reception of the channels:
Sat1, Pro7, Kabel ...
You cannot record anything

Solution
Check wiring and connections
Exchange LNB
Review settings (see 9.1
Satelliteconfig)
Realign dish
Remove snow from dish
Realign dish
Install larger dish
Reposition dish so it has a
clear "view" towards the
satellite
Check dish
Start service scan (see chapter
8)
Increase distance between the
phone's base station and the
Dreambox or buy a coaxial
cable with a higher shielding
value
Delete no longer needed
recordings
Remove batteries and check
polarity
Insert new batteries
Press Dream-Mode or TV-
Mode button
