Troubleshooting

Do not call for service until you have checked the points listed below.
If you call for service and there is nothing wrong with your washing machine, you will have to pay for the service call.
You will have to pay even when your washing machine is under warranty.
The message will be brief information about the problem and what you can do to try and rectify it.
If you have a problem you are unable to resolve from the guidance on this page, see page 19 - "Troubleshooting fault displays".
Problem
Washing machine not
working.
Washing machine
has washed load but
will not spin. Water in
washbowl.
Washing machine will
not fill with water.
Water flowing into
washbowl indefinitely.
Washing machine
'beeping' continuously.
Washing machine
goes out of balance or
vibrates excessively
when spinning.
Water on floor.
Possible causes
Power not switched on.
No electricity supply through the power
point.
Machine not switched on.
Machine not washing.
Out of balance.
Set on DELAY start or SOAK.
Spin speed set to DRIP DRY.
Out of balance.
Drain hose blocked.
Too much, and/or incorrect type of
detergent giving excessive suds.
Lid is not closed & locked for spin to
start.
Inlet hoses blocked.
COLD water only connected to machine
& you have selected a hot or warm wash
Drain hose too low.
Problem/fault detected by machine.
Machine not level.
Levelling feet not adjusted.
Clothes not evenly distributed.
Too much water for load size.
Loose inlet hose connections.
Incorrect water level for size of load.
Condensation from hot water.

What to do
Switch on power point.
Check power point with another appliance.
Press Power button on.
Press Start/Pause to start wash.
Turn on taps.
Open lid, redistribute load and close lid.
Ensure machine is level.
Check left hand screen to see if machine is in DELAY or
SOAK; if yes wait or reset to zero (0).
Open lid, removes clothes, then close lid.
Open lid, redistribute load and close lid.
Ensure machine is level.
Check outlet is not blocked and there are no kinks in the
hose.
ONLY use low sudsing, front load washer detergent in this
machine, such as Cold Power for Front Loaders and High
Efficiency Top Loaders or detergent labelled "Matic".
Make sure lid is closed, or closed properly. Then 'SAFETY
Lid is locked' shows on right hand screen & your program
continues.
Turn on taps.
Clean tap filters/washers.
Select COLD water washes only
Raise drain hose or fit a syphon break. (See Installation
instructions).
Turn both wall taps OFF (Refer page 19)
Look at left hand display screen for Fault Information. (See
page 19)
Make the machine level. (See Installation instructions).
Adjust feet to touch floor. (See Installation instructions).
Redistribute clothes evenly.
Use Auto water level or a lower manual water level.
Turn both wall taps OFF (Refer page 19).
Check connections at taps and rear of machine.
Use Auto water level or a lower manual water level.
Reduce water temperature.
