1. Using the TORX T0 bit remove and discard the
three (3) pressure regulator mounting screws from
the old pressure regulator assembly. (Fig. 76)

tor assembly. Replace step motor with new conversion step
motor.

. Insure the rubber gasket (D) is properly positioned
install new step motor
and install the new step motor (E) pressure regulator
assembly to the valve using the new screws supplied
with the kit. Tighten the screws securely. (Ref. torque
= 5 in/lb) (Fig. 76)
3. Install the identification label (F) supplied with the
stepper motor to the valve body where it can easily
be seen. (Fig. 76)
4. Make step motor and mV valve electrical connec-
tions.
5. Regulator conversion complete.
6. Test for Leaks
Pilot Orifice Conversion
1. Locate pilot. (Fig. 77)

. Replace pilot orifice.
3. Remove pilot hood by lifting up. (Fig. 78) Do not
remove the snap ring to remove the pilot hood.
NOTE: It is not necessary to remove the pilot tube
for conversion.

4. Remove pilot orifice with Allen wrench. (Fig. 79)
5. Install the conversion orifice.
6. Reinstall pilot hood. Be sure to align hood with index
tab.

Burner Orifice Conversion
1. Remove three (3) 3/8" nuts on bottom side of burner
pan. (Fig. 80)
. Carefully remove ember bed by tilting the right side
up and lifting out toward the right side of the unit.
