TV View Operation

The following operations are available while viewing TV
channels through this unit's tuner.
Select a Channel
DVB
ANALOG
To switch DVB, analogue and external input (AV1/AV2/
DV(AV3)) mode.
Press [INPUT SELECT] repeatedly to select DVB, analogue
or external input mode.
The mode changes as follows:
DVB mode
Analogue mode
You can select external input mode (AV1/AV2/DV(AV3)) by
pressing [PROG.
The mode changes as follows:
External input mode (with [PROG.
AV1
You can select a channel using [PROG.
enter the channel using [the Number buttons].
Notes on using [the Number buttons]:
• For one or two-digit number channels, the channels will be
identified for 2 seconds after you press the channel number.
You can only select channels 1~899 (Digital) or
1~99 (Analogue).
If you cannot get a "Station Name" of Analogue channel, it is
not indicated with a channel number.
Selecting the Audio Mode
ANALOG
You can switch between TV audio modes by pressing
[AUDIO]. Each mode is indicated on the TV screen.
Audio mode during reception of analogue bilingual
broadcasts:
Mode

Main audio from both speakers
Sub
Sub audio from both speakers
• Main audio from the left speaker
Main / Sub
• Sub audio from the right speaker
• If the programme does not have more than one sound track,
[AUDIO] is not effective.

DVB
With "Quick Select" menu, you can select your favourite DVB
channel quickly. Refer to "Edit Group Lists" on page 25.

Press [ENTER OK] while watching a DVB
channel.
• "Quick Select" menu will appear.

Press [0 1] to select your favourite group list.
("All", "Group 1" - "Group 8")
• "All" shows a list of all the memorised DVB channels.
• If the favourite group does not have any channels, the
group will be skipped.

Select the DVB channel using [K L], then
press [ENTER OK].

Press [RETURN BACK] to exit.
Edit Channels
DVB
With "Edit Channels" menu, you can sort all the memorised
DVB channels into the group lists ("Quick Select") or set the
viewer limitation ("Adult Lock"), etc.

In stop mode, press [SETUP]. Select "General
Setting" using [K L], then press [ENTER OK].

Select "Channel" using [K L], then press
[ENTER OK].

Select "DVB Channel Setup" using [K L], then
press [ENTER OK].

Select "Edit Channels" using [K L], then
press [ENTER OK].
• "Edit Channels" menu will appear.
