Floppy disks
To remove a diskette:

Make sure that the diskette drive indicator is off.
Ê
Press the eject button and slide the diskette out of the drive.
Diskettes are also sensitive to electromagnetic emissions. You should avoid passing them through
x-ray machines and metal detectors in flight terminals, and have them hand-checked if possible.

3 = Write-protect slider

To insert a floppy disk, push it into the drive in the insertion direction until it engages. The label
should be facing upward.
The write-protect slider enables you to protect the data on the floppy disk from inadvertent
overwriting or deletion.
Ê
To protect the data on the floppy disk from being overwritten, push the write-protect slider to
position (5). The hole is now visible.
To remove write protection, push the slider to position (6). The hole is now covered.
