Paper Empty Indicator

The indicator displayed here appears when the paper supply
inside of the machine has been depleted. The machine will
not be operable under these circumstances.
Follow the procedure provided below to replenish the paper
supply when this indicator is displayed.

Loading Paper in the Paper Tray

Remove the Manual Bypass Tray.
Open the Document Guide Plates.
Set the paper into the tray so that its front
side is facing up.
Note: The paper should be loaded no
higher than the (Max. Level
Indicator).
