Changing the LCD language
(depending on your model)
You can change the LCD language.

Initial Setup.
Press OK.

Local Language.
Press OK.

Press a or b to choose your language.
Press OK.

Press Stop/Exit.
Setting the Dim Timer for the
backlight
You can set how long the LCD backlight stays
on after the last key press.

Press Menu.

General Setup.
Press OK.

Press a or b to choose LCD Settings.
Press OK.
d
Press a or b to choose Dim Timer.
Press OK.
e
Press a or b to choose 10Secs,
20Secs, 30Secs or Off.
Press OK.

Mode Timer

(MFC models)
The machine's control panel has four

temporary mode keys: FAX, SCAN, COPY
and WEB. You can change the amount of
time the machine takes after the last Fax,
Scan, Copy or Web operation before it
returns to Ready mode. If you choose Off,
the machine stays in the mode you used last.
