INSTRUMENT PANEL: warning lights
The presence and operation of the indicator lights described below DEPEND ON THE VEHICLE EQUIPMENT AND
COUNTRY.

Right-hand direction indica-
tor light

Door status indicator light
Shows if a door or the tell-tale
light is open or not properly
closed.

Tyre pressure monitor indi-
cator light
Refer to the information on the
Tyre pressure monitor in Section 2.

Driver's seat belt reminder
and, depending on the vehi-
cle, front passenger seat belt re-
minder
It lights up when the engine is started
and, if a seat belt is not fastened, the
light flashes and a beep sounds for
about 90 seconds when the vehicle
reaches a speed of approximately
6 mph (10 km/h).

Preheating warning light
(diesel version)
With the ignition switched on, this light
should come on; it indicates that the
heater plugs are switched on. It goes
out when preheating is complete and
the engine can be started.

Left-hand direction indicator
tell-tale light

Air bag warning light
This comes on when the igni-
tion is switched on and goes out after a
few seconds.
If it does not light up when the ignition
is switched on, or comes on when the
engine is running, there is a fault in the
system.
Contact your RENAULT Dealer as soon
as possible.

Passenger air bag OFF
This indicator light comes on
for several seconds after the engine
is started when the front passenger air
bags are deactivated (depending on
vehicle).
