Power-assisted steering

Never drive with an inadequately
charged battery.

system is equipped with an electronic
control system which alters the level of
assistance to suit the vehicle speed.
The steering is lighter for parking ma-
noeuvres and becomes heavier as the
speed increases.
Operating faults

warning light flashes when
the engine is started, turn the steering
wheel slowly from lock to lock to reset
the system.
Never switch off the ignition

and avoid doing so in normal
