E. • Pull down buttonhole lever
and push the lever to the back
until it clicks.
• Press the start and stop button
to start stitching.
When using the foot controller,
step on the foot controller to
start the machine.
F. • The buttonhole sewing is com-
plete in the order of
shown.
• Stop the machine when the
needle reaches the starting
position .
When using the foot controller,
release your foot from the foot
controller.
G. • Raise the presser foot lifter and
remove the fabric.
• For reinforcement, pull out the
upper thread from the wrong
side by pulling the bobbin
thread and tie a knot.
WARNING
To prevent injury, do not hold the
buttonhole cutter against your
hand .
H. Using a buttonhole cutter,
carefully cut an opening in the
middle of the buttonhole.
To prevent over cutting, place a
pin through the bartacks.

H. Abra el ojal por el medio con el
abreojales.
Ponga un alfiler a cada extremo
para no cortar más de la cuenta.

• Pour renforcer la boutonniere,
sortez le fil supérieur par
l'envers du tissu, en tirant sur le
fil de la canette, et faites un
noeud.
AVERTISSEMENT
Pour éviter tout risque de
blessures, ne tenez pas le
découseur avec la pointe vers
votre main.
H. A l'aide d'un découseur,
pratiquez une ouverture au
milieu de la boutonniere.
Pour ne pas couper trop loin,
placez une épingle aux points
d'arrêt.
