Setting the Time
The Time Setup page allows you to set the
time format and zone. You can also set the
unit to conform to Daylight Saving Time.
To open the Time Setup page, press MENU three
times, select Time, and press ENTER. The current
time and date are displayed at the bottom of the page.
If the incorrect date is displayed, press MENU, high-
light Set Date, and press ENTER. You will then be
prompted to enter the current year. The 76CS Plus
will use this information when gathering satellite data
to display the correct date.

Customizing the Units
The Units Setup page allows you to customize
measurement units for the entire system. To
open the Units Setup page, press MENU three
times to open the Setup Menu. Select Units
and press ENTER.
Restoring Defaults
Many pages allow you to restore the default settings
(the original factory settings).
To restore defaults:
1. Open the page you want to restore to the
factory defaults.
2. Press MENU.
3. Highlight Restore
Defaults and press
ENTER.
To restore all of unit's settings
to the defaults, hold the PAGE
and ENTER keys and turn on
the unit. This will erase all user
data, such as waypoints.
