Enter the distance, bearing, and units to project
the new waypoint.
5. To change the units of measure, highlight nm
and press ENTER. Highlight the desired units
in the list and press ENTER.
6. Make any other desired changes to the
new waypoint data (such as the name or
symbol), then press QUIT or PAGE to exit the
information page.

Deleting Waypoints

You can delete individual waypoints or all waypoints
that have a particular symbol.
Distance
NOTE: Once a waypoint is deleted, it cannot
be recovered from the unit. Back up important
waypoints to a computer using the optional
Units
PC cable and interface software, such as
MapSource, or write them down by hand.
To delete a waypoint:
1. Open the waypoint's information page.
2. Highlight Delete and press ENTER.
To delete waypoints by symbol:
1. Open the Waypoints find category and press
MENU.
2. Highlight Delete... and press ENTER.
3. Highlight the symbol of the waypoint you want
to delete and press ENTER.
4. Highlight Yes and press ENTER to confirm.
Choose No or press QUIT to exit without
deleting.
