Use existing screws from lower
edge of Maxstar wrapper and upper
edge of HF unit wrapper, and se-
cure notched brackets as shown.

Sets length of time gas flows before
arc starts.

Sets length of time gas flows after
welding stops.

Down position: Turns unit Off.
Middle position: Turns unit On
with no HF. Use for scratch start
GTAW or if Touch Start feature on
welding power source is used.
Up position: Turns unit On with HF
for arc starting only.
HF starts when the weld output
contactor is closed and an open-cir-
cuit voltage of 50 volts or more is
present. HF stops when arc starts.
If arc is not started within 5 seconds
after contactor closes, HF stops.
Close contactor again to resume
HF.

Place in Remote position if using re-
mote amperage control. Place in
Panel position if controlling amper-
age from welding power source
front panel.
This switch overrides welding pow-
er source remote/panel amperage
switch.
