BRAKE PAD WEAR (Type ) II
Refer to the Safety Precautions on page 65 . FRONT BRAKE
Brake pad wear depends upon the severity
of usage, the type of riding, and road
conditions. (Generally, the pads will wear
faster on wet and dirty roads.)
Inspect t he pa ds a t e ach r egular
maintenance interval (page 68 ).
Front Brake
Check the wear indicator marks ( ) on 1
each pad.
If either pad is worn to the wear indicator
mark, replace both pads as a set. See your
dealer for this service.
