Existence of several devices is the prerequisite
Forwarding a call to Dect
This function is available only if you have registered
several cordless telephones with your device and the
telephones are within the range of the machine.
1 During a call, press ô Menu .
2 Using / select CALL TRANSFER .
3 Confirm with _.
4 Select the cordless telephone to which you would like
to transfer the call using /.
5 Confirm with _.
6 Press ' to hang up.
Forwarding fax to the device
If you receive a call on the cordless telephone and
hear that it is a fax call (whistling tone or silence), you
can start the fax reception on the device. Press either
G on the device or *5 on the cordless tele-
phone.

Calling Line Identification (CLIP)

Country- and Network-Specific
(country and network dependent)
CLIP Definition
The number of the caller appears on the display of the de-
vice and the cordless telephone. For this function to work,
the caller line identification (CLIP—Caller Line Identifi-
cation Presentation) must be activated for your telephone
connection. Enquire with your telephone company. Call-
er identification may be associated with a fee.
Setting the Country
If the caller line identification does not work even
though the function is activated for your telephone
connection, check if you have set the correct country
(also see Chapter "Settings", Page 33)

Missed Calls

Displaying Telephone Book Names
Your machine displays the name with which you
have saved the number in the telephone book. The
number and name will not be shown if the caller sup-
presses his number.
On the device
Missed Calls
If you received calls in your absence, the ä button
blinks.
1 Press ä.
2 Use the / to select the missed calls.
3 Press _.
4 Use the / to page through the list of missed calls.
5 Lift the handset or press " on the cordless telephone
to go back.
On the cordless telephone
Missed calls on Dect
If you receive calls in your absence, a message appears on
the display.
1 Press _.
2 Using /, you can page through the list of missed calls.
3 Press " to go back.
