If there is an error in the transmission of information to your Caller ID
phone, ERROR shows in the display. If you have not subscribed to Caller ID
service or it is not working, NO DATA shows in the display.

IMPORTANT: In order to use all of the features of this unit, you must
subscribe to either the standard Name/Number Caller ID Service or Call
Waiting Caller ID Service. To know who is calling while you are on the phone,
you must subscribe to Call Waiting Caller ID Service.
If you subscribe to Call Waiting Caller ID service from your local phone
company, you will receive CID information (if available) on Call Waiting
calls and see who is calling when you hear the call waiting tone in the
handset receiver. The CID information for the waiting call appears in the
display after you hear the tone.
• Press flash/program to put the current call on hold and answer the
incoming call.
• To switch back and forth between the two calls, press the flash/
program button.

This section shows you how to set up your answering system to receive
incoming calls. Before you begin the setup, you must turn on the
answering system.
• Press the answerer on/off button to turn the answering system on and off.
The new messages indicator turns on when you have new messages.
NOTE: The answerer indicator is illuminated when the system is on.
