NTRODUCTION This telephone has been designed to be simple to use, however, you can reach its full potential more quickly by taking a few minutes to read this User’s Guide. This telephone is a multifunction product for use with the Call Waiting and Caller ID services available from your local telephone company. -

DJUSTING THE OLUME The volume buttons on the handset and base control the volume level of the handset's earpiece or the base unit's speaker. There are four listening levels. Base: 1. OICE ESSAGING Provided your phone company offers FSK voice messaging service and you subscribe to it, the new message/in use indicator on the base flashes when there is a message waiting, and MESSAGE WAITING shows in the handset and base display. The indicator stops flashing after the message is reviewed. -

ECEIVING AND TORING ECORDS When you receive a call, the information is transmitted by the phone company to your Caller ID Telephone between the first and second ring. When the memory is full, a new call record automatically replaces the oldest call record in memory. -

EADSET AND PERATION ONNECTING AN PTIONAL EADSET TO THE ANDSET For hands free conversation, connect the headset (optional) to the HEADSET jack as shown. The handset receiver and microphone are disabled when the headset is connected. Adjust the headset to rest comfortably on top of your head and over your ear. Move the microphone to approximately 2 to 3 inches from your mouth. -
