This system operates in the 2.4GHz frequency range. When the base is connected to electrical power and a telephone line, it can support a cordless handset. - Page 6 TVs, microwave ovens, and VCRs. INGER OLUME ONTROL ANDSET Use the two-position switch on the handset to turn the ringer off or on. The ringer switch must be in the ON position for the handset to ring when you receive calls.
