BEFORE PLAYBACK

Preparation

1 Switch on the television and select the preset channel for the DVD player.

If an audio system or an AV receiver is connected to the DVD player, switch it
on and select the audio input for the DVD player.

Press »ON/OFF« on the device to switch on the DVD player.
– Display on the DVD player »{ O d I S C «, on the television – »No Disc«.

Inserting a disc

Press » «.
– Display: »O P E { «, the disc drawer opens.

Insert the disc you want to play in the disc compartment with the label facing
upwards.

Press » «.
– Display: »C L O S E «, the disc drawer closes, afterwards the »L O A d « display
flashes, the disc is scanned.
– Display: the elapsed playing time of the disc.
Notes:
Playback of a DVD, VCD, SVCD, KODAK Picture CD, JPEG CD or audio CD
(CD-DA) starts automatically.
The file browser appears if an MP3 CD is inserted.
If the »-« symbol appears on the television screen, the selected function is
not possible with this disc.

Removing discs
