Usingthe self-cleaning oven.
The oven door must be closed and all controls set correctly for the cycle to work properly.

How to Delay the Start of Cleaning
Make sure the oh)ok shm_s the correct time

the dora:
[] Touch
the SELFCLFJIN pad.
[] Using the + °r - °r the number I)ads,
enter rite desired clean time.
[] Touch the DELAYSTART pad. The
earliest start time _ou can set will
appear in the display.
[] Using the ÷ °r - °r the number I)ads'
enter the time of day you want the
clean cycle to start.
[] Touch the START pad.
[] When the LOCKEDDOOR light is off,
slide the latch handle to the left as ti_r
as it will go and oI)en the dora: If )ore"
ranoe does not haxe a latch, the door
will tmh)ck automatically.

LOCKDOOR will flash and the
oven control will signal if you set the
clean cycle and fi)_get to close the oven
door or torget to latch the door OIT
models with a latch.
To stop a clean cycle, touch the
CLEAR/OFFpad. _]teil the LOCKEDDOOR
light goes off indicating the oven has
cooled below the locking temperature,
tmlatch the door (on models with a
latch) and open the dora:
On models without a door latch, the door
locks automatically: The display will show
the start time. It will not be possible to open
the oven door tmtil the mmperatm'e drops
below the lock temperature and the
LOCKEDDOOR light goes off.
The oven shuts off atmmmticallv when the
clean cycle is complete.
After a Clean Cycle
Y_)u mm notice some white ash in the o_en.
_il)e it up with a damp ch)th alter the
(1_,en cools.
ff white spots remain, remove them with a soap-
filled scouringpad and rinse thoroughlywith
a vinegarand water mlkture.
These deposits are usually a salt residue
that cannot be removed bv the clean cycle.
If the oven is not clean after one clean
c_cle repeat the c)cle.

::Ji:: ]f the shelves become hard to slide,
al)ply a small amotmt of vegetable oil or
cooking oil to a paper towel and wipe
the edges ot the oven shelves with the
paper towel.
