STEP 2 Fastenthe rail to the motor unit
To avoidSERIOUSdamageto garage door opener,use ONLYthose bolts/fasteners m ounted inthe
top ofthe opener,
1, Inserta 1/4"-20xl-3/4"bolt into thecover protectionbolt hole on the backend ofthe railas
shown,Tightensecurelywitha 1/4"-20locknut, Do NOTovertighten,
2, Removethe bolt and nutfromthetop ofthe motor unit,
3, Usethe cartonto supportthe frontend ofthe rail,
4, Placethe "U" bracket, f lat sidedownontothe motorunit and alignthe bracketholes withthe
boltholes,
5, Fastenthe "U" bracketwiththepreviouslyremovedbolt and locknut;DONOTuse any power
tools,The use of powertoolsmay permanently damagethe garage door opener,
