Warning Displayed
• The Memory Card contact area is soiled.
• The Memory Card format is incorrect.
[CARD ERROR]
• Camera fault.
• The Memory Card is damaged.
[\ MEMORY FULL] The internal memory or Memory Card is full.
[Y MEMORY FULL]
• The data could not be recorded due to a Memory
Card error or a connection error between the
Memory Card and camera.
[WRITE ERROR] • The image cannot be recorded as it is too large to
fit in the available space on the Memory Card.
• The Memory Card or internal memory is not
formatted.
[INTERNAL MEMORY IS The data could not be recorded or copied since the
FULL internal memory is full.
INSERT A NEW CARD]
The timing for recording was incorrect because the
[BUSY]
Memory Card was formatted on a PC.
The frame number has reached 999-9999.
[FRAME NO. FULL]
Explanation Remedy
• Wipe the contact area on the Memory Card with a
soft, dry cloth. It may be necessary to format the
Memory Card (➝p.111). If the message still
appears, replace the Memory Card.
• Contact your FUJIFILM dealer.
Erase some images in internal memory or Memory
Card (➝p.43), or use a Memory Card that has ample
free space.
• Re-insert the Memory Card or turn the camera off
and then on again. If the message still appears,
contact your FUJIFILM dealer.
• Use a new Memory Card.
• Format the Memory Card or internal memory on
the camera (➝p.111).
Erase some images from the internal memory
(➝p.43), or use a Memory Card that has ample free
space.
Use a Memory Card that was formatted on the
camera.
A Insert a formatted Memory Card into the camera.
B Set RENEW as the FRAME NO. setting in the
[SET-UP] menu (➝p.107).
C Start taking pictures (The frame number starts
from "100-0001").
