_Recordinq Movies
Press (°7 to shoot a movie. During recording,
RECand the time remaining will be displayed
in the LCD monitor and sound will be recorded via
the built-in microphone (be careful not to cover the
microphone during recording).

To end recording, press the _o)button again. Recording ends automatically
when the movie reaches maximum length or memory is full.
Zoom carl be adjusted while recording is in progress.
Before recording, select a frame size using the [] MOVIE QUALITY option in the
shooting menu. Select 111"i11280 (1280x 720) for an aspect ratio of 16:9 (Hig h Defini-
tion) or _ (640 x480) to record longer standard definition movies.
Focus,exposure and white balance are adjusted automatically throughout record-
ing. Tile color and brightness of tile image may vary from that displayed before
recording begins.
Sounds made by the camera may be recorded.
