The following warnings are displayed in the LCDmonitor:

Warning Description
Lowbattery. Charge the battery (7) or inserta fully-charged sparebattery (9).
Batteryexhausted.Charge the battery (7) or inserta fully-chargedsparebattery (9).
Slow shutter speed.Picturesmay beblurred; usethe flashor a tripod.
Thecameracannot focus. Tryone of the following solutions:
Usefocuslockto focus onanother subject at the samedistance,then recomposethe picture
( 33).
Usemacromodeto focuswhentaking close-ups (36).
Thesubjectis too bright ortoo darkand the picturewill beover-or under-exposed. I fthe subject
isdark, usethe flash (37).

The memory card contacts require cleaning: Cleanthe contacts with a soft, dry cloth. If
