the USB port 3 48 of the Infotainment
system.
Logbook settings:
■ Logbook: activates/deactivates the
logbook feature.
■ Private trip / Business trip:
determines the type of an
upcoming trip.
The selected type can be changed
when starting a trip (see image of
logbook message above), or at any
time during a trip via this menu.
In the logbook data a private trip is
indicated by a "0", a business trip by
a "1", see "Sample logbook data"
below.
■ Set filename: using the speller
function (see section "Destination
input") you can enter a base
filename (max. 15 characters) for
storing the logbook data on a USB
drive.
The system will add "Logbook" in
the beginning and the current date
and time at the end of the base
filename,
e.g., "Logbook_myTrips_2011.09.2
3_09.45.txt".
■ Set description: using the speller
function, you can enter an optional
descriptive text (max.
80 characters) that will be added to
the logbook data of a trip, see
"Sample logbook data" below.
The description will be added to the
logbook data of each upcoming trip
as long as the description is not
changed.
If you enter/change a description
during a trip, the description will be
added to the logbook data of the
current trip.
Navigation
■ Export logbook: exports all
recorded trip data currently stored
in the Infotainment system's
memory to a USB drive connected
to the USB port 3 48 of the
Infotainment system.
The data will be stored in a simple
text file in the root directory of the
USB drive.
Example: "F:
\Logbook_myTrips_2011.09.23_09
.45.txt"
■ Erase logbook: erases all recorded
trip data from the Infotainment
system's memory.
Sample logbook data:
The following sample data represent
a single recorded trip. The data is
stored in the exported text file in
a single line. The individual data items
are separated by semicolons:
