7.3.8 Set energy save mode

With the energy save mode enabled, the handset will automatically turn the
handset backlight off and adjust the ringer volume to level 2.
1. Press <MENU/OK>.
2. Press <UP/DOWN> to select SETTINGS and then press <MENU/OK>.
3. Press <UP/DOWN> to select ENERGY SAvE and then press <MENU/OK>.
4. Press <UP/DOWN> to select ON or OFF and then press <MENU/OK>
to confirm.
NOTE: When ENERGY SAvE is turned on, the energy save icon shows on
the handset screen.

7.3.9 Set the auto hang-up

This function enables you to end a call automatically by simply placing the
handset on the base station. By default, the Auto Hang up feature is ON.
1. Press <MENU/OK>.
2. Press <UP/DOWN> to select SETTINGS and then press <MENU/OK>.
3. Press <UP/DOWN> to select AUTO HANG-UP and then press
<MENU/OK> to select.
4. Press <UP/DOWN> to select ON or OFF and then press <MENU/OK>
to confirm.

7.3.10 Set the auto answer

This function enables you to take a call automatically by simply picking the
handset from the base station. By default, the Auto Answer feature is ON.
1. Press <MENU/OK>.
2. Press <UP/DOWN> to select SETTINGS and then press <MENU/OK>.
3. Press <UP/DOWN> to select AUTO ANSWER and then press <MENU/OK>.
4. Press <UP/DOWN> to select ON or OFF and then press <MENU/OK>
to confirm.

Base settings

7.4.1 Set the base ringer melody

You can select from 5 ringer tones.
1. Press <MENU/OK>.
2. Press <UP/DOWN> to select BASE TONES and then press <MENU/OK> .
3. Press <MENU/OK> to select BASE MELODY and then press
<MENU/OK>
4. Press <UP/DOWN> to select the desired MELODY from 1 to 5 (each
melody will sound as it is selected) and then press <MENU/OK> to
confirm your chosen melody.
