Setback mode (reduced heating
mode)
See "Reduced heating mode".
Standby mode
Central heating/cooling and DHW heat-
ing are switched OFF, but frost protec-
tion monitoring is still active.
Operating program
With the operating program you deter-
mine whether you heat/cool your rooms
and heat DHW or only heat DHW. Frost
protection monitoring remains active if
you shut down the heat pump via the
operating program.
You can select the following heating pro-
grams:
■ "Heating and DHW"
or
"Heating/cooling and DHW"
Rooms are heated or cooled; DHW is
heated.
■ "Cooling"
The separate cooling circuit is cooled;
DHW is heated.
■ "DHW only"
DHW is heated but central heating is
not active.
■ "Standby mode"
Frost protection for the heat pump, the
DHW cylinder and heating water buffer
cylinder (accessory) is active; no cen-
tral heating/cooling, no DHW heating.
Note
No heating program is available for cen-
tral heating without DHW heating. If you
want central heating, hot water is gener-
ally also required.
However, if you just want central heating,
select the operating program "Heating
and DHW" or "Heating/cooling and
DHW" and set the DHW temperature to
10 °C (see page 34). This means that
you will not heat DHW unnecessarily but
the DHW cylinder is protected against
frost.
Operating status
The operating status indicates in what
way a function or component is oper-
ated.
For central heating the operating sta-
tuses are differentiated, for example, by
different temperature levels. In addition,
the operating statuses for DHW heating
take into account what temperature sen-
sors are used to regulate the cylinder
temperature. For example, this enables
DHW cylinders to be heated completely
or only in their upper section.
For pumps, the operating status can
specify whether constant running or run-
ning for a specific period is required.
The times for the operating status
changeover are defined when the time
programs are set.
Extension kit for heating circuit with
mixer
Assembly (accessory) for controlling a
heating circuit with mixer.
See "Mixer".
