Comfort and energy saving functions
Energy savings function "Economy mode" selection
To save energy, you can reduce the
room temperature in standard heating
mode, for example, if you leave the
house for a few hours.
Note
Cooling via a heating circuit stops in
economy mode.
Standard menu
1. "Heating" or "Heating/cooling"
2. Where appropriate, select the heat-
ing/cooling circuit.

Energy savings function "Holiday program" selection
To save energy, for example over long
holidays, you can activate the "Holiday
program".
The heat pump control unit is set up so
that the holiday program applies to all
heating circuits.
Depending on the operating program
selected (see page 19), the holiday pro-
gram may have different effects:

Ending economy mode
■ Automatically when the system
switches to "Reduc." operating status
in accordance with the time program.
Or:
■ Set "Economy mode" to "OFF".

■ Operating program "Heating and
DHW" or "Heating/cooling and
DHW":
– The rooms are heated to the speci-
fied reduced room temperature (see
page 19).
– Cooling via one heating circuit has
been switched OFF; a separate
cooling circuit continues to be
cooled.
– DHW heating is switched OFF; the
frost protection monitoring for the
DHW cylinder is active.
