Required settings (heating/cooling)

If you want central heating or central
cooling, check the following points:
■ Have you selected the heating or cool-
ing circuit?
For settings, see chapter "Selecting
the heating/cooling circuit or a sepa-
rate cooling circuit".
■ Have you set the required room tem-
perature?
For settings, see page 20.

Selecting the heating/cooling circuit

Central heating can be split over several
heating circuits (heating circuit 1, 2 or 3).
Cooling results either through one of
these heating circuits or via a separate
cooling circuit.
For all settings relating to central heat-
ing/cooling, first select the heating/cool-
ing circuit or the separate cooling circuit
to which your changes should apply.

At the factory, the heating/cooling cir-
cuits are designated "Heating circuit

"Heating circuit 3" (HC3) and the sep-
arate cooling circuit with "Cooling cir-
cuit SKK" (SKK).
■ Have you set the correct operating
program?
For settings, see page 21.
■ Have you set the required time pro-
gram?
For settings, see page 21.
Example:
■ "Heating circuit 1" is the heating cir-
cuit for the rooms occupied by you.
■ "Heating circuit 2" is the heating cir-
cuit for the rooms of a separate apart-
ment.
■ "Cooling circuit SKK" represents a
fan convector in a storage room.
