Energy saving tips
Information regarding heating sys-
tems with underfloor heating
Underfloor heating systems are slow,
low temperature heating systems and
only respond very slowly to short-term
temperature changes.
■ Therefore, heating with the reduced
room temperature at night and ena-
bling of "Economy mode" during
short absences do not result in signif-
icant energy savings.
■ As heat pumps are largely operated in
conjunction with underfloor heating
systems, no reduction of the room
temperature is preset at the factory.
For additional energy saving functions of
the heat pump control unit, please con-
tact your heating contractor.
Further recommendations:
■ Correct ventilation.
Briefly open windows C fully and at
the same time close thermostatic radi-
ator valves D (if no domestic ventila-
tion system is installed).
■ Close roller shutters (if installed) at
dusk.
■ Set thermostatic valves D correctly.
■ Never cover radiators E or thermo-
static valves D.
■ Controlled DHW consumption: A
shower generally uses less energy
than a bath.
