Terminology
(cont.)
For central heating the operating sta-
tuses are differentiated, for example, by
different temperature levels. In addition,
the operating statuses for DHW heating
take into account what temperature sen-
sors are used to regulate the cylinder
temperature. For example, this enables
DHW cylinders to be heated completely
or only in their upper section.
For pumps, the operating status can
specify whether constant running or run-
ning for a specific period is required.
The times for the operating status
changeover are defined when the time
programs are set.
Extension kit for heating circuit with
mixer
Assembly (accessory) for controlling a
heating circuit with mixer.
See "Mixer".
Heating/cooling curve
Heating and cooling curves illustrate the
relationship between the outside tem-
perature, room temperature (set value)
and the (heating circuit) flow tempera-
ture.
54
Heating curve:
■ The lower the outside temperature,
the higher the flow temperature in the
heating circuit.
Cooling curve:
■ The higher the outside temperature,
the lower the flow temperature in the
cooling circuit.
In order to guarantee sufficient heat at
any outside temperature, the conditions
of your building and your heating system
must be taken into consideration. For
this you can adapt the heating curve (see
page 23).
The cooling curve can be set by your
local heating contractor.
Example:
The illustrated heating curves apply sub-
ject to the following settings:
■ Heating curve level = 0
■ Standard room temperature (set
value) = 20 ºC
