Installing RPMLoader

The installation file for RPMLoader (RPMLoaderSetup<version#>.exe) is available to download from
www.amx.com. The installer program provides two options for installing RPMLoader (FIG. 1):

Upon installing the RPMLoader program on a external USB drive, there will be no
.RPMX file associations with the installed application.

Installing a Desktop Version of the RPMLoader Application

1.
Download and open the executable file to launch the RPMLoader installer program.
2.
In the Welcome to RPMLoader Setup dialog, click Next.
3.
In the License Agreement dialog, review the AMX License Agreement and click I Agree, then click Next
to proceed.
4.
In the Install Option dialog, leave the install option set to Install a Desktop Version of the RPMLoader
Application and click Next to proceed.
5.
In the Select RPMLoader Install Location dialog, accept the default Destination Folder (or click Browse
to select a different destination folder if desired), and click Next to proceed.
6.
In the Select RPMLoader Program Manager Group dialog, accept the default group (AMX Control Disc)
and click Next to proceed.
7.
In the RPMLoader Shortcut Creation dialog, accept the default, or de-select the Yes, I would like to
create a shortcut on my Desktop option as desired. Click Next to proceed to the Start RPMLoader
Installation dialog.
8.
Click Next to begin the installation process.

Installing a Portable Version of the RPMLoader Application

1.
Download and open the executable file to launch the RPMLoader installer program.
2.
In the Welcome to RPMLoader Setup dialog, click Next.
3.
In the License Agreement dialog, review the AMX License Agreement and click I Agree, then click Next
to proceed.

By default, RPMLoader is installed to a default location on your PCs local hard drive, like any other
Windows application. To install RPMLoader to the default location, verify that the Install a
Desktop Version of the RPMLoader Application option is selected.
The Install a Portable Version of the RPMLoader Application option (selected in FIG. 1) allows
you to install the application to a portable USB drive.
