Internet Browser Configuration
Initial Bookmark
If you have not used an Internet Browser with the NSS-Vote system yet, it is recommended you
setup a bookmark to the initial NSS-Vote page. Open your Internet browser and enter the IP address
of the NSS-Vote system along with the NSS-Vote path into the address bar like this:
Save this link as a bookmark. Then you can recall this bookmark anytime you need to access the
NSS-Vote system.
Due to the technology used in the NSS-Vote HTML pages, you need to run Internet
Explorer 6.0
Voting Body List
The initial NSS-Vote HTML page is the voting body list. Select your voting body from the list to
access the files for your voting body.
Agenda Result List
The initial NSS-Vote HTML page for a particular voting body is the agenda results list. This page
lists all agenda results available on the system. Click on an agenda name to see the results for this
agenda.
In addition, a link to the Last Vote page is available. The Last Vote page holds the result of the most
recent vote taken for this voting body. To access last vote information, select this link.
The Last Vote page only shows the results of a vote after the result has been closed
regardless of the Display Vote Results in Progress option, page 8.
Viewing Results and Sending Emails
When you have selected an agenda results page or the last vote page, the outcome of the vote is
listed in the browser. You can print this page using the Print option in your browser, or you can
simply copy and paste this information into your favorite word processing program.
If you would like to email the results for a particular vote:
1. Click on the Send Email link.
2. Fill out the email address.
3. Select Send.
Your browser needs to be configured for email for this option to work correctly.
