Deleting a Voting Body

To delete a voting body:
1. Select an existing voting body.
2. Select Delete.
You will be prompted to confirm the deletion of the voting body. Once the voting body has been
deleted, all the information related to the voting body including member names, voting agendas and
voting results will be deleted.

Editing Members

To add or edit voting body members:
Once you have entered the member's name and title, make sure the member's privileges are correct.
Each member can be granted/denied the right to vote, participate in discussions, priority speaking
privileges and priority override. If you would like a member to be able to cast votes and participate
in discussions, make sure the Member Can Vote and Member Can Speak boxes are checked. For
more information on priority speaking and priority override, see the Speaking Priority section on
page 18.

Editing a Body Password

To enter a password for the body:
1. Press Body Password.
2. You are prompted to enter a new password for the body. When you have finished, press OK.
To clear an existing body password:
1. Leave the password blank.
2. Press OK.
This password is required to load, edit and delete this voting body. The password is also required to
return from Intermission Mode, page 17, and view the results from the i!-VotingManager software.

Voting Options

The voting options for the voting body are used as the defaults for each topic. These options can be
adjusted on a per-topic basis at any time during the session. During agenda creation, each topic may
override the default voting options. For the voting body voting options setup, select the options that
you most commonly use during voting.
For more information on voting options, see Voting Preferences section on page 7.

Select the Edit Members button at the top of the screen. The edit members page displays
a scrolling list of seats in the council chamber.
Add or edit a member by selecting a voting station position and choosing Select. This
allows you to enter a member name and title for the member who sits at this station. You
can view the voting body as a list or graphically.
