STS-1 LOOPBACKS
An STS-1 loopback option provides a series of tests on the STS-1 path.
The STS-1 Loopback option, from the Loopback menu, displays the screen illustrated in
sections following the figure provide descriptions and diagrams of the testing options.
STS-1 Loopback Menu Options
From the STS-1 Loopback menu, various loopbacks can be activated. The loopback menu options include
the following:

Data Mode

Digital Loopback

Metallic Loopback

Data Mode
Select
to terminate a test in progress and return the port to "normal."
